Hilaria BaldwinandAlec Baldwinstepped out Thursday for the first time since Hilaria announced that she suffered her second miscarriage in seven months.
“We’re going to have another one, just not now. It’s a question of time,” Alec, 61, toldExtraat the event.
“It’s been hard,” theSaturday Night Livestar added, saying that even in the wake of such a tragedy, the couple couldn’t be more bonded if they tried.
“If we were closer … I would be sewn to her,” Alec said.

Hilaria, 35, shared with PEOPLE during the event that she’s feeling both physically and emotionally “much better” after revealing the sad news, and doesn’t feel pressured to share her experiences as much as empowered.
“I feel like it’s making the best out of a bad situation because Ifeel like it’s an important message, that people are not alone,” she said. “People think [our lives are] all roses and diamonds and all that stuff. I think it’s important to be honest because we’re so much more similar, everybody is, than different.”
“It brings the world a little bit closer,” Hilaria continued. “But what has been very important for me, in my own healing journey,is to realize that I’m not alone, and so I want to do that for other people as well.”

“We connected, and I guess we truly know what’s going on for each other,” Hilaria toldExtraof speaking with the mother of five. “It’s been tough. She’s very strong and my heart is with what’s going on with them.”
Over the weekend, theMom Brainpodcast hostshared an updatewith her fans on Instagram, sharing that she was doing “better.”
“I have my moments when I feel better then I have moments when I will get really sad. But I feel like time and healing and everyone’s support is helping me,” she said. “Spending time with my babies and husband helps so much. I’m so lucky to have them.”
Hilaria and Alec are also parents to sonsRomeo Alejandro David, 18 months,Leonardo Ángel Charles, 3, andRafael Thomas, 4, while Alec is dad to 24-year-old daughterIreland.
