The helmets — which are being auctioned off subsequently this calendar month — are part of a fundraiser forMissing Tom , an organization dedicated to find a long - miss brother of laminitis Ben Moore . To get the labor off the ground , Moore collaborate with an industrial identify Andrew Ainsworth — who was creditworthy for fabricating the original Stormtrooper suits produce for A New Hope and the subsequent films .
Moore and Ainsworth gave out helmets to a group of 19 artists and require them to come back with an original firearm . Some are more interesting than others : Damien Hirst ’s contribution is bland to the point of humor , while Jake and Dinos Chapman sculpture white house of cards of plastic onto theirs .
