According to two surveys , one byTellmeand one bybuzzd , cellphone users are doing some pretty atrocious stuff and thinking it ’s O.K. . The worst ? lecture in a movie theater .
Here ’s what the tellme sketch exhibit :
• 77 % say they ’d talk on their phones in a theater or a concert
• 71 % say they ’d use their speech sound in a restaurant
The sleep , run errands ( 88 % ) , waiting at an appointment ( 80 % ) , walking ( 78 % ) , call in protagonist ( 68 % ) are n’t so bad , but three out of four the great unwashed would talk in a theater ? Really ? I do n’t want to be old man Chen , but banter these days ! * shake fist *
The buzzd one also says that 60 % of mobile phone users have drunk dialed , and 68 % have drunk texted . I ’d say intoxicated dialing is a much estimable offense than sing at a theater . A drunken hookup hurts at most two , possibly three people , depending on the destiny . A cellphone conversation during Iron Man 2 strike everyone .
