DC Young Flyis staying positive as he navigates the holiday season without his partnerJacky Oh.
Though the holidays won’t be the same without the one vital member of his family, theWild ‘N Outstar opened up about the plans he has withtheir children— the first sinceher deathon May 31 at age 33.
“Everybody’s good, man, we staying grounded, keeping God first, you know what I’m saying? Staying positive, that’s really the only way,” DC Young Fly toldEntertainment Tonight.

“Family is everything. During this time, we still holding on and just letting people know, like, ‘Look, we can be happy even through pain and through agony,'” he explained. “We can always find peace because that’s what it says in the Bible.
He added, “At the end of the day, we’re gonna be obedient. As long as we are obedient, we gonna be alright.”
Instead of exchanging gifts amongst each other, the television personality said he’s planning on using the season to teach his children “how to give back.”

“I try to not buy them anything, I buy them nothing for Christmas," he continued. “We only watch people be happy. It’s this time of the year we want to be happy for others, so I try to instill in them to show them, ‘Look, at a time where everybody else is wanting something, you gone be trying to reach out here to be happy for others.'”
“Because a lot of times, people don’t be happy for others when they get blessed. And I want my children to be happy when other people are happy,” he said.

“Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the ‘Wild ‘N Out’ cast throughout five seasons,” the spokesperson continued. “More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.”

At hercelebration of lifein Atlanta in June, DC Young Fly addressed his late partner and praised her as aloving mother to their children.
“I love you, Jack. These kids are beautiful, man,” he said through tears. “I’m talkin’ about, super great mother. I want our kids to understand that you had a beautiful soul and you didn’t leave us. You in heaven,” he said. “Your spirit is with us, you still here, and we got an amazing support system. We got a beautiful support system and they came out. We love you. Everybody in here, keep God first.”
