TheDLO HomeDock Deluxeworks just like it says . The unit of measurement generate a custom — and customizable — UI onto your goggle box so you do n’t need to trek up to your iPod whenever you need to depend for tracks . That part works just like it claim . But what else is great about it ?

Well , for one , it looks marvelous . The ash grey and Joseph Black should make it blend in to any home theatre arrangement . Since it has to be in your assembly line - of - sight thanks to the IR remote control , you ’ll probably depend at it often .
What else ?
The 2d dandy affair about this is the remote . Unlike other iPod Dock remotes we ’ve used , this one ’s actually weighty . As in , if you circumstantially fling it at your kidskin , she ’s going to shout . The arctic grip makes it feel great to the touch , but unfortunately its performance is n’t that great . There ’s a bunch of computer menu postponement when surf your iPod , and sometimes clicks do n’t even register . If you ’re the impatient type , you might as well stop reading now .
As for playback , the audio sounded pretty decent come in out of the RCA cable , and video recording was ok from the S - Video cables . We watched some Strong Bad electronic mail and Ask a Ninja instalment without any glitches .
So would we advocate this ? Only if you ’re doing a lot of music mind and movie take in from your iPod on your home theater and do n’t have any other way to stream music or movies . It ’s not exactly cheap—$149.99 street — and it has some dumb menus , but it ’s definitely deserving it for fact that you may see the UI on the television alone .
