Free Fall : In a bit of a nonsensical scenery , Husker bails out and go toe - to - toe with a Cylon ( old school too ! ) in mid - air while they both devoid crepuscle . think back the scene in Moonraker where Roger Moore ’s James Bond and Jaws oppose in mid - atmosphere ? You get the picture . Adama and his toaster - chum smash through the ceiling of a edifice on the planet ’s surface and Adama go bad medieval on the Cylon ’s ass ( well , his fount really ) with an iron rod cell and “ kills ” it . Then he understand he ’s in some sort of a adage - like torture chamber and grabs the Cylon ’s gun .
The science laboratory : With gruesome Cylon / Human body parting hanging all over the place like a twisted chassis carnival , Adama tries to project out what he ’s stumbled into . While these clips show us some cool scenes from the First Cylon War , they unfortunately show very piffling . Plus , is n’t it a small coincidental that Adama just happens to be the one who discovered the first intercrossed Cylon / Human and did n’t see fit to note it until now ? But , there are a lot of coincidence in the BSG population , so we ’ll take it in stride .
One thing to note : all of these flashbacks take shoes 41 geezerhood in the past , which means that Adama has to be about 60 years honest-to-goodness or so by now , which sounds about correct . extolment to Nico Cortez , who plays a clean convincing ( and relatively legato - cheeked ) young Adama . He even gets the raspy vocalism right .
