Jonathan and Nancy have always been on the same team , and they both strain for the same goals . They both challenge each other as well . They can see what the other has been through . This is the first season where you see Jonathan and Nancy in a full relationship , you see what that looks like . But they ’re also in this study surround . What starts to show are their societal differences . For Jonathan , this job means a lot . He ’s very focused on his responsibleness , and he think that Nancy does n’t have to work as hard . He ca n’t see what she ’s have to go through . They ’ve always been fight for a case together in a in high spirits - stakes surroundings . You put them in a real - human beings scenario , and they start struggling . As the season acquire more into the supernatural when they start fighting this teras , they put aside these humble quarrel , and then ultimately , they push for each other .
