At this point in time , the post - apocalyptical American political sympathies on Revolution have become the “ torture and sadism ” subplot . So now all we have left to relish is the nanotech plot – and luckily , last night ’s episode delivered in that section . Here ’s the ripe scene .
We got a little back story on the Patriots ’ chief scientist , whose father was a Christian who trust in prayer rather of practice of medicine . So science chief is kind of pissed off about that still , mostly because it meant that his momma die for want of medicinal drug . Now , skill headman has Cancer the Crab – and he wants Google to practice his top executive of nanotech to bring around him . And that brings us to this scene , after the Patriots have captured Google so they can make out him up and study him . Science chief tells Google that his daddy consider there was an invisible strength order the universe and it turn out that was genuine . “ Except , ” he adds , “ it does n’t come from heaven . ”
We never find out where he thinks it come from . I like the fact that were get out wondering if he means that it comes from hell , or from science . Either way , he ’s going to mess up with Google until he visualize out how to control Google ’s powers . What I like about this scene is that it suggests Revolution is a narration about what would happen if it turn out God were really tangible . That would make Google Jesus , or maybe Moses . And it would make that picayune Revelations / Revolution pun a passel more meaningful .

In the scene for the next episode , we ’ve been promised answers about what all the nanotech powers are about . I highly doubt we ’ll get any answer at all – this show has been reasonably big about follow - through in that section . But if we get more stuff about how skill has made Christianity into a reality , gloss me intrigued . Especially if we do n’t have to watch Neville rack someone or Monroe knife someone or Miles torment someone who once torment someone … seriously , I love natural action , but eternal scene of torture do get boring after a while .
So line in next week , when Richard Dawkins realizes that science has brought about the Biblical apocalypse and his head explodes with Google nanites . What , you did n’t see that in the previews ?
