Donuts are one of the man ’s most complete nutrient , and it ’s just about inconceivable to make them better . But that does n’t mean the great unwashed should n’t seek . So that ’s why I applaud Krispy Kreme for conflate its donuts with one of the public ’s other most double-dyed food for thought : Pie .
Today , Krispy Kreme announced two new , limited - edition flavors , and they sound awful :
Caramel Dutch Apple Pie : Chunky cinnamon orchard apple tree filling and exceed with caramelized sugar icing , a crunchy streusel and a dollop of cinnamon apple fulfil
Key Lime Pie : A blending of key lime and custard filling and top with key lime tree icing and graham crumbles
They ’re only uncommitted until May 18 , which is only 48 breakfast . Not that you ca n’t have them for dinner , too .
