While some were acted by human beings ( Andy Serkis , we ’re looking at you ) others were acted out by none other than the species themselves , and companionship likeDIGICare in electric charge of capturing them for the big screen .
Motion seizure can be easy with more trainable creature like dogs , but this yearViconhas been working with DIGIC to get quality data on animals who are a small less compliant . Yes , we ’re spill about cats .
“ Although the cats were rail and had been in films many meter , it was a challenge to get them to move naturally despite the markers that were placed on them , ” said Lead of Motion Capture Division at DIGIC , Csaba Kővári , in acase studyabout the project .

“ The solution was a comparatively farsighted acclimatization summons . First , placing one or two marker on the cat ’s organic structure for a few proceedings , then gradually figure out up to the full marker set … it took approximately one month to train the cats – with the assistance of a professional animate being trainer – and develop them for [ a ] shot session . ”

How did you come to work with cats and frankfurter and move capture ?

What are some of the downsides ?
It is important to emphasize that when working with animals , we mold with professional trainer who get up the creature for the shoot in advance .
During the provision phase of any projection , the animal can be trained for any clock time between two to three months , during which meter they get used to propel naturally despite the movement seizure mark being attached to their soundbox . The timing of the shoots may change , so the animals take regular , consistent training so they remember the movements they are practicing .
