The formerJustifiedstar, who is expecting her first child — a girl! — with husbandTravis Schuldt, jokes to PEOPLE that the highlight of her fall-themed party was watching her friends enjoy the spread.
“[I’m] glad I could provide my girlfriends an opportunity to get tipsy in front of me, while I enviously sipped on soda water,” the mom-to-be says.

The celebration, held onTerrine‘s back patio in Los Angeles, gathered Zea’s close friends. The venue was decorated in an apple theme with autumn colors incorporated throughout.
There were Matilda Jane table runners on all the tables, with vases of apples and wooden welcome signs. Photos of Zea and Schuldt as children also adorned the room, with selections from the clothing company’s fall collection on display.
Guests enjoyed small snacks with their drinks, appropriately named “the Gwen” and “the Ethan” after the couple’s characters onPassions —the daytime drama where they first met.
Zea’s guests received custom hobo gift bags with a gift card for Matilda Jane and a printed scarf.
Also included were a few of the actress’ favorites: local honey fromEcho Park, lily bulbs (Zea’s choice flower), apple lip balm and aHawaiian Tropic‘s-scented hand lotion.
The store also made a donation to Zea’s charity of choice, Plan International USA’s “Because I Am a Girl.”
“Matilda Jane was so generous, not only to have provided a beautiful shower for me, but to have made such a sizable donation to Because I Am A Girl, which is an organization that’s very dear to me,” Zea, 40, tells PEOPLE.
Zea, who has a new comedy series,The Detour, set to hit TBS in the spring, is due with her daughter this fall.
