Jada Pinkett Smithis opening up how she felt being mocked inChris Rock’s Netflix comedy special.
“I remember my heart piercing, my heart cracking, and I remember my feelings being so hurt,” Jada told the outlet.
“And then I remember being able to smile and wish him well at the same time,” she continued.
In the special, Rock addressed the incident whenWill Smithhit him onstage at last year’sAcademy Awardsceremony, after he made a joke about Jada’s shaved head. He had also joked about entanglements, referring to the headline-making “entanglement” drama Will, 55, had with his wife during theRed Table Talkepisode they did together, in which she admitted to having a relationship with singerAugust Aslina.

In Jada’s soon-to-be-released autobiography, she reveals thatRock once asked her out on a dateamid rumors that she and Will were splitting.
“I think every summer all the reports would come out that me and Will were getting a divorce. And this particular summer, Chris, he thought that we were getting a divorce. So he called me and basically he was like, ‘I’d love to take you out.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He was like, ‘Well, aren’t you and Will getting a divorce?’ I was like, ‘No. Chris, those are just rumors.’ ” she previously explained to PEOPLE of the situation.
“He was appalled,” Jada added. “And he profusely apologized and that was that.”
TheSet It Offstar also told PEOPLE that after Will slapped Rock onstage at the Oscars, Rock had tried to apologize during a pause in the broadcast.
“Chris came down to the end of the stage and tried to apologize to me,” she recalled. “He said, ‘I didn’t mean you any harm.’ I said, ‘I can’t talk about this now, Chris. This is some old s—.’ "
“I’ve got to leave that to Will and Chris to talk about,but they got their stuff for sure,” added Jada.

Jada’s bookWorthycomes with numerous revelations, including one that she and Will have beenseparated for seven years.
“I think wewere both kind of just still stuckin our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be,” she told the television journalist.
The actress also said she “made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce,” explaining, “We will work through … whatever.”
