Leonardo DiCapriois spoiling his loved ones for the holidays.
The actor, 50, was recently spotted shopping at VRAI in Los Angeles, where he picked out the perfect Christmas gift forhis mom, Irmelin. A source tells PEOPLE that DiCaprio “took his time deciding between two different lab-grown diamond necklaces.”
“It was sweet, he wanted it to be perfect,” the source added.
For the outing, the Oscar winner sported a casual look of olive-green pants, a black t-shirt and black hoodie. He also wore sneakers, sunglasses and a black baseball cap.
VRAI, which has shops in New York City and L.A., features diamonds created in its own foundry in America’s Pacific West. The foundry is the world’s first certified zero-emission producer that utilizes 100 percent renewable energy to power reactors to grow diamonds, creating sustainable luxury.
DiCaprio joined Diamond Foundry as an investor in 2015.

A source told PEOPLE exclusively that the event drew guests such asBrad Pitt,Tobey Maguire,Robin ThickeandApril Love Geary,Odell Beckham Jr.,Tyga,Teyana Taylor,Jamie Foxx,Bill Maher,Alexander “A.E.” Edwards,Paris Hilton,Cara Delevingne,Chris Rock,Kevin ConnollyandTodd Phillips, along with DiCaprio’s parents,George DiCaprio and Irmelin Indenbirken.
According to the source, DiCaprio “had a family and friends dinner first, and then after was the big party.”
