Princess Eugenie wasn’t alone in changing up her profile picture either. Shortly after the announcement of Meghan and Harry’s new account, the Kensington PalaceTwitterandInstagrampages changed their profiles to center aroundKate MiddletonandPrince William.
The Twitter bio and Instagram description have also been changed to read: “The official account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Royal Foundation, based at Kensington Palace,” dropping Meghan and Harry’s titles.

While Meghandeactivated her social mediaaccounts after gettingengagedto Harry, Eugenie actually launched her Instagram page in March 2018. It is likely allowed because Eugenie doesn’t have a formal working role within the royal family. While she does accompany her father on official duties and engagements, she doesn’t have a fixed role within the family like her cousins (although she does have causes she supports). In fact, Eugenie works as a director at London art gallery Hauser & Wirth.
The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank in October, has sharedepic Throwback Thursday postsand championed her philanthropy work through Instagram.
